My Top 12 Songs (in no order) (except for the first one that's #1) 

1. Vienna - Billy Joel

This has to be my all time favourite songs. It is literally the one song that I will never ever get sick of and it will always be in every single one of my playlist and at the top of my Top 25 played on itunes. 

2. Wouldn't It Be Nice - The Beach Boys 

THEN WE WOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG! I can't name one person who hates this song. It is a classic! Beach boys really did a number on this one. In one of my all time favourite movies as well so thats a plus. 

3. For the Nights I Can't Remember - Hedley 

I will always love this song. It brings back some good memories with some old friends. This song is like a scrapbook for my ears. 

4. Follow You Into the Dark - Death Cab For Cutie 

 Who doesn't love this song though. "Love of mine, some day you will die, but I'll be close behind I'll follow you into the dark". I need some more death cab for cutie in my life. 

5. High Hopes - Kodaline 

Fell in love with the music video and then fell in love with the song for this one. It's truly a beautiful song, I swear I catch my breath every time that I listen to it. 

6. Dear John - Taylor Swift (don't judge me its great!) 

 There was one point where this song was insanely relevant so I just played it non stop and I love it and its a great song and I love me some Taylor Swift she is my guilty pleasure artist for sure. 

7. Older Brother - Pepper Rabbit 

My friend showed me this song and I can't get over how amazing it is. I mean its incredibly sad, but very amazing. 

8. Crocodile Rock - Elton John 

 Who does not love this song! This is my classic dancing song. You play it and I will dance for you NO LIES! I love me some Elton. 

9. In My Life - The Beatles 

This song is the ultimate looking back, reflecting, mistakes

and triumphs, loves and deaths, missing your old friends, 

loving your new ones kind of tune! It reminds me of true 

love and well who doesn't love some of that. 

10. She Will Be Loved - Maroon 5 

I have no idea why, but when I love this song and when I hear it I will shout it from the rooftops for days at ends. 

11. Slow it Down - The Lumineers 

I just love me some Lumineers and these are some great lyrics. 

12. I Believe In a Thing Called Love - The Darkness 

 Agh this was my sports pump up song! Its so catchy and it gets ya going before a big game and you can never sound bad when singing it! 

13. Rip Tide - Vance Joy 

Another song my friend showed me and I can't again get over it. God I hate my friends and their good music. 

14. Shake That - Eminem 

who doesn't know every single word to this song? Seriously! 

My best friend and I have a pretty great routine when it comes to this song. It may or may not involve inappropriate dancing.  

15.  Helena Beat - Foster the People 

Foster the People with their different sound and great tunes. My allll time favourite band for sure. and well if you do not like them well we have a problem my friend.

16. Give Me Love - Ed Sheeran 

oh Ed Sheeran. This mans music is literally the best thing on this earth. His lyrics. ugh. His sounds. ugh. Everything about him......ughhhhhhhh....! 

17. Rain is a good thing - Luke Bryan 

not the best song in the world, but hey I love it! Its catchy and so much fun to listen to on a warm sunnnnny summer day

18. Wake Me Up - Ed Sheeran 

  Ed Sheeran again... he must have good music or something? 

19. Gorilla - Bruno Mars 

This is a sexy song and it will always be the most sexy song on this planet and it is sung by a sexy man hot dang nabit.

Falling in Love with Sports

I fell in love...

Coming right out of high school was kind of weird for me.  I was one of the few people who knew exactly to the point what I wanted to do with my life.  I was signed up to start the Radio Arts & Entertainment program at BCIT.  Going into the program I was 9000000% sure that I wanted to be on-air.  I've pretty much known my whole life that I wanted to do some sort of show on-air. If it was the afternoon drive or whatever I knew that I wanted it to be my job.  If I could ever reach it my dream job would be to host my own morning show where I can just talk about crazy crap and be myself. All of that was true up until a couple of weeks ago when I had to read sports for sims. After reading sports....all the other dreams I had were history. 

I grew up my whole life watching and playing sports. Hockey was my best friend growing up like I pretty much lived in the ice rink (up until I broke my legs, but thats another story).  You could say for a girl I know quite a fair amount about sports and sport stats and what not.  I love talking about all the stuff with my guy friends and all, but I had no idea when I got to read the  sports news and stats and what not at the top of the hour that I would actually fall in love with sports even more. 

All I know is that I am even more sure of what I want to do with my future and I cannot wait one more minute. Who knows maybe one day I'll be a famous woman broadcaster of sports!

4 Reasons why the Pittsburgh Penguins will win the Stanley Cup

Why the Pittsburgh Penguins will win the Stanley Cup

and why Josh Sucks. lots.

The question asked every single NHL hockey season is 'Who will win the Stanley Cup?' Now just because Pittsburgh is my favourite team does not mean that I am being bias here. When it comes to this question my answer is sincerely honest and would be the same even if I hated them (like I hate Paul Martin). I would still believe that when 2013/14 NHL season comes to an end this team would take home the sacred Lord Stanley  

So here is 4 Reasons why Pittsburgh will be taking home that cup: 

1) Take a look at that Roster

Pittsburgh has an insane amount of wealth of talented players. They are blessed with greats like Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. Their whole roster has the offensive firepower, the talent at the blue line and in net, as well they hold all the assets that are vital in making their way to the Stanley Cup Finals. Although a great lineup the Penguins frequently suffer with injuries, specifically speaking right now you have Kris Letang out due to a Stroke, Paul Martin (boo) and Beau Bennet out with hand/wrist injuries, Pascal Dupuis gone after undergoing torn ACL and MCL surgery, and also Thomas Vuokon who suffered a blood clot earlier this year. Still with all those players missing the roster is still looking hot. Once they overcome all of their injuries, they’ll become almost unstoppable and have an even easier chance of getting to that cup. 

2) Fleury's Goaltending 

You could say that Marc-Andre Fleury during recent (or all) playoffs has been a bit of a wild card. During regular season 90% of the time that kid is on fire, but when the stress of playoffs come around Fleury the rough times get to him and essentially he chokes big time. The way he has been playing this year I feel that things are going to be different when playoffs role around. He knows he might not have Voukoun there to back him up if things get rough so he's going to have to put all his heart into making sure he rocks every game. Fleury has gone from a downward spiral and worked his way back up after a disappointing last two seasons. 

3) The Power Play 

The penguins have the best power play in the NHL and they for a good reason. When it comes to their power play they are shining their brightest. They basically have 5 stars leading their power play and no one can touch them. With Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Kunitz, and Neal out there all you are gonna get is goals and scoring chances. The power play is also very versatile with when almost every single player that sees power play time is very comfortable with it. If the other team covers one of the dangerous players to be honest they are not doing much because there are 4 more dangerous players on that power play line. So there will always be one dangerous player open which is why the Penguins power play seems to succeed. The Pens power play is indeed dangerous. 

4) Leadership 

And the final reason that the pens are favourites to win the Stanley Cup is because of the leadership they have in the locker room. And by leadership the greatness that comes from all of the captains. Specifically speaking though, I mean Sidney Crosby. His leadership makes a big difference in a team.  With Sidney Crosby captaining the team and Malkin and Orpik and Kuntiz backing him up with the A's the penguins are destined to go far. 

oh and josh sucks because he does and thinks the penguins sucks and is mean to me.

10. TYLER SEGUIN (Dallas Stars) 

Everyone say hello to Mr. Seguin. This mad man is a former Boston Bruin who once got scratched after he missed a team breakfast. Although not even close to one of my favourite players, due to his beautiful face, glorious tattoos and bad boy attitude this man winds up in my number 10 spot. 

I am literally still laughing from when this happened. 

9. PATRICK KANE (Chicago Blackhawks) 

I was told by many people to take this man off the list, but the lord knows that is for sure not happening. Kaner is a keeper and has a nice face.

8. KRIS LETANG (Pittsburgh Penguins) 

Ahhhh a Pittsburgh Penguin. Just being a Pittsburgh Penguin automatically just gets him on the list. That is not the only thing that gets him on this list though! The number one amazing thing about Tanger is the fact he has the most amazing locks! It has to be the best long messy hockey hair I have ever seen in my life. 

7. JONATHAN TOEWS(Chicago Blackhawks) 

Oh Canada our home and native land of sexy men. ha. 
The assistant captain of Team Canada and Captain of the Chicago Blackhawks Jonathan Toews really reels in the ladies with the trademark baby face smile. Also come on look deep into those eyes....they...they...put you in a sort of trance. 
Jonathan Toews hits the number 7 spot on this list. 

6. JEFF SKINNER (Carolina Hurricanes) 

This baby face talented young man really has a contagious smile. At only the age of 21 Jeff Skinner really has a big future ahead of him. Game wise and face wise. 

5. TANNER GLASS (Pittsburgh Penguins) 

This one is for my best friend Katie. Tanner is a babe and I will be at his wedding one day when he marries my Macdaddyalister! He has a rocking beard, some great 'glassy' eyes and a beautiful bod.

4. CHRIS HIGGINS (Vancouver Canucks) 

Positive things about the Canucks: Higgins, Higgins Abs, Higgins beard 10/10 would stroke. He looks like a god dang freaking model. Everyone needs some Higgins in their life. 

3. GABRIEL LANDESKOG (Colorado Avalanche) 

Those Avalanche fans over in Colorado are very lucky to be able to watch this piece of man meat play. I mean he just recently signed on to the Avalanche for another seven years. You people get to stare at this beautiful face for seven whole years. I deeply envy you. So anyways people this man with the beautiful golden locks is hot and if you claim that you do not find this man even the least bit attractive, you are lying big time. 

                                                                                     Oh kind sir if you could please come off that ice for a bit and into my life that would be a nice. 

2. RYAN KESLER (Vancouver Canucks) 

Oh Ryan Kesler. This 6’2″ stud was drafted in the first round by Vancouver and has played for the Canucks his entire NHL career.

 you have scrolled and you have conquered the sexiness that comes along with this list and let me tell you that I am not even prepared to write down this name on this list as even typing it makes me swoon for the stars. God took his time on this sweet face and sweet butt. It is not just his looks, but also the way he plays hockey (he plays it like amazing...like really amazing) makes girls go weak at the knees. 

That is why the number one spot goes to no one else, but my future husband....

1. SIDNEY CROSBY (Pittsburgh Penguins)

The butt of all butts and the face of all faces. Sidney Patrick Crosby is the not just the hottest hockey player in the world, but also the hottest man with the greatest butt that graces this place we call earth. With the butt of Kim Kardashian, Sid the beautiful kid dekes his way into our hearts with his sultry smile and again great butt. He seriously has a great butt.
